Round 3: Begin!

GO BACK TO NEWS PAGE • POST A COMMENT The Syracuse New Times Syracuse Area Music Awards will move its People's Choice vote into the third round, starting immediately, and ending on Sept. 1, 2010 at midnight (late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, depending on how you roll).
Round two ended midnight on Aug. 26 (late Wednesday...you know the drill). Entrants were cut off by total votes at the top 64. That many venues remained in the contest for round three (down from 78 from the initial open round) and just 66 bands remain in the contest. Four bands were tied for the final place slot, so two more than the intended 64 remain.
Remember: You can vote once per day, per email address. So send your fans off to Vote for the People's Choice Awards by linking to our site from your blog, website or social networking page.
