The SNT Sammys moves on to round 5 of its People's Choice Vote

The Syracuse New Times Syracuse Area Music Awards People’s Choice Vote has completed its fourth round, resulting in the top 16 bands and venues left in contention for this week’s vote.

The fourth round, which started on Sept. 2, began with 32 bands and venues in the running. The top entrants by vote were winnowed down to the top 16 on Sept. 9.

Those contestants, in turn, will be narrowed down to the top 8 on Sept. 15, so be sure to get your votes in for your favorite bands and venues. The People’s Choice vote is a chance for fans of the Syracuse music scene to weigh in on their favorite bands and venues in the area. Rules and a description of the contest can be found at the Sammys’ People’s Choice voting page.

Now totaling more than 10,000 votes for this year’s contest, the People’s Choice vote has resulted in the following contestants in round 5:
