Each year we host a Web-based competion to see whose fans are the most psyched about your favorite bands, venues and other members of the Syracuse music community.
Since 2007, the Sammys has attracted thousands of voters through its online voting system.
The People's Choice vote is currently closed.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The contest typically moves through a few rounds of voting that go like this: ROUND 1
Voters are encouraged to "write in" as many of their favorite bands as possible. At the end of the round, the top 128 bands are selected as finalists.
ROUND 2
Each week up until the week of the Sammys award show, you may vote once per day for your favorite finalists. During the final weeks, we'll post information on our Web site about the final few contestants.
