The 2008 Syracuse New Times Syracuse Area Music awards are currently in production, and ready to honor another year of fine musicians in the Central New York scene. Be sure to get your album submitted to the Sammys via the instructions on the Submissions page. Information about the upcoming show follows. Check back often for updates!

WHEN: June 6, 2008 (times to be announced)

WHERE: Taste of Syracuse, Clinton Square, Syracuse, NY

WHAT: A presentation of awards for the finest, edgiest and most extaordinary musicians in the Syracuse music scene who released an album in 2007. Previous Sammys winners will party all day, culminating in a blow-out awards show at night.
