Save the Dates! Syracuse Area Music Awards – March 4-5, 2027
The Sammys Board is pleased to announce the 2027 Syracuse Area Music Awards Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Show. The SAMMYS Hall of Fame Dinner will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2027, and the Award Show will be on Friday, March 5, 2027. The Award Show will include musical performances by area artists/bands. Awards will be presented in 14 recording categories, in addition to the People’s Choice awards in four categories, Brian Bourke Award for Best New Artist, Jack O Bocchino Spirit of the Sammys Award, and our Community Spirit Award.
Submit Your Work December 1st!
Local musicians, bands, and artists are encouraged to submit their commercially available albums, EPs and single to the Syracuse Area Music Awards! If you’re a Syracuse area musician and released new work between January 1 – December 31, 2026, you are eligible for consideration! All submissions must be available on Apple Music, Spotify or Tidal, and be submitted through our online entry form at syracuseareamusic.com/submissions starting December 1, 2026. No physical recordings will be accepted.
